Dr. Suraj Singh Senjam is an Additional Professor in Community Ophthalmology Department, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (RPC), AIIMS, New Delhi. He has graduated in MBBS from, Imphal, Manipur. He received his MD degree in Community Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh and MSc in Public Health for Eye Care from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, London. Dr. Suraj is interested in a community-based eye care and research project including low vision rehabilitation. He is instrumental in strengthening low vision rehabilitation in RPC by establishing the National Research & Training Centre for Low Vision and Rehabilitation Services. He is also a Co-investigator as well as a supervisor of the National Blindness Survey and National Trachoma Survey conducted under Ministry of Health Govt. of India. He has more than 30 publication including chapters/booklets/handbooks on salutogenesis, health promotion, lifestyles and original research papers to his credit in the index and peer-review journals.
