Dr. Jugal
Kishore is a medical educator and public health expert; did his secondary
school education from Jamia Milia Islamia. He is part of developmentof various departmentsparticularly
Community Medicine in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal and the
Center for Occupational & Environmental Health at Lok Nayak Hospital, New
Delhi. His more than 250 research papers are published in journals, in
magazines, and in dailies. He is authored 32 books and many chapters and
pamphlets on public health, national programs, social reform, and rationality. He
is member of many expert groups of health planning and implementation of programs
of the central and state government and various institutions. Conducted more
than 50 national and international training programs, workshops, symposiums,
conferences, and delivered hundreds of guest lectures. Member of many task
forces of ICMR, MoHFW, recruitment boards, and curriculum and study board of
universities and colleges. He teaches BSc, MSc Nursing Students, MBBS, MD and
PhD Students on epidemiology, research methods, health system, mental health
and other topics of public health. He is the recipient of “Rashtrya Ekta Puruskar” (National Unity Award), “Dr. S Radhakrishnan Memorial Teacher Award
2007” and in 2009, IMA President Appreciation Award in 2016and also “Chikitsa Ratan” in 2016, Distinguished
Doctors Award by IMA South Delhi, 6thAcademic Brilliance Award for Best
Faculty 2018. His scientific
and rational outlook attracts international body and made him Hony. Director of
Center for Inquiry,India, founder of Sabasva foundation and KISHORE Foundation
and Secretary General of Indian Association
for Adolescent Health and President of Indian Association of Integrated
Community Health. His mission is to liberate the humans through education and
development of public health.
